Hyacinth jasper

Hyacinth jasper

29x18mm

Hyacinth Jasper is a discovered in Utah, USA, originally coming from a small, single-location deposit near the Tiffany Stone region. The site is no longer accessible, which means no new rough is being produced and material on the market is limited. Hyacinth Jasper is recognized for its soft, watercolor-style colors ~ lavender, dusty rose, pink-purple, cream, and muted greys , often with light brecciation or natural veining. With a hardness of ~6.5–7 Mohs, it’s stable and ideal for cabochons. Because of the closed access and small original deposit, high-quality pieces are considered collectible and naturally one-of-a-kind.
