Inspiration Mine Chrysocolla is a striking blue-green copper silicate mineral from the Inspiration Mine, Arizona, USA. It forms in oxidized copper deposits, often mixed with quartz, malachite, or azurite, making it highly valued in jewelry and collections. The mine, once a major copper producer, ceased standalone operations in the late 20th century, with parts integrated into the Miami mine, now run by Freeport-McMoRan. While no longer actively mined, its chrysocolla specimens remain sought after.
